I am pretty sure you wouldn't trust anyone to remodel your bathroom, your kitchen or your entire home based on a sketch made in 15 min on a piece of paper? But would you do that for your yard makeover/installation?

A beautiful and functional landscape will not only add value to your home but also add value for you. Outdoor living is easy here in the greater Albuquerque area, or at least 9 months out of the year. And with a landscape lifespan of approx. 20 + years (no tree or perennial will live forever) you want to be sure it'll work out. A landscape plan/design is an investment to stand the test of time. Pretty much just like any kitchen or bathroom remodel. But you can't expect that from someone who does not understand different plants and their needs, different spaces or quality materials. It all has to come to one. In Albuquerque and surroundings we have a lot of landscapes that look very much the same. A quality landscape design doesn’t follow a formula, and should be individualized to your site, house, personal wants and personal needs. And of course your budget.

If your landscape design project incorporates multiple elements, paying a qualified landscape designer for a plan will absolutely be a worthwhile investment. Projects that includes removing old landscape or projects that needs to be installed from scratch, and that includes patios, pergolas, pathways, raised beds, water features, and strategically selected plants requires time to plan and draw up. Without using a landscape designer that spends many hours planning out the details, you could end up blowing your budget or ending up with a design that turns into a real installation nightmare.

After meeting with me to discuss the basic scope of your project I seek to find a budget range that will include the elements you wish to see in your dream landscape. No budget is too small or big. I'll make it work for you.

After agreeing on the scope, the final landscape design fee is collected (some smaller projects will only require the Landscape Consultation fee).
